Poverty, Conflict, Climate Change
Africa Development Analytica (AfDA) is an independent non-profit research organization dedicated to conducting rigorous policy-oriented research to improve our understanding and inform effective policy design and implementation on the “triple-burden of survival” in Africa: climate change, conflict, and poverty.
Africa Development Analytica’s (AfDA) primary research area focuses on the nexus of poverty, conflict, and climate change. AfDA's innovative approach combines three key elements. First, AfDA utilizes nexus research, examining these issues through a multidisciplinary lens to understand their complex interplay within the African context. Second, AfDA prioritizes co-generation of knowledge by collaborating with local experts, ensuring their research and policy recommendations are tailored to specific country contexts and socio-economic realities. Finally, AfDA emphasizes policy-oriented research, prioritizing evidence-based findings to inform effective policy design and implementation.
AfDA’s research publications are available on their website under the "Works and Publications" section.
